Scheduling Your Delivery
You will receive a phone call to confirm your delivery date, set up a delivery time frame, and choose the delivery option after placing an order online.
A four-hour time block will be assigned for delivery.
In the case that you need to change your delivery time or date, please don't hesitate to call 916-386-4940, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or chat with us at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery time. A new delivery fee may be charged if AFG has already loaded your order onto a delivery truck within that 48–hour time frame.
Preparing For Your Delivery
An authorized adult must be home during your scheduled delivery window to accept and sign the delivery receipt. If no authorized adult is home to receive your scheduled delivery, you will be charged a new delivery fee to reschedule a second delivery attempt.
Lay down rugs, blankets, cardboard to protect floors.
AFG not responsible for floor damage.
Remove pictures, mirrors, plants from entryway and delivery path.
Remove breakable items from delivery area.
Clear sidewalks, stairs, hallways of obstructions and debris.
Clear designated area and remove existing furniture to be replaced.
Measure items and doors to avoid problems before delivery.
Day of Delivery
You will receive reminder call, email, or text the night before delivery confirming time block.
Drivers can call 30 minutes before delivery if a correct phone number is provided.
Inspect items at delivery and note any damage. AFG will schedule technician for repairs if needed.
You are responsible for disposal of old furniture or mattresses.
